A Mixed Mann Iteration Process for Fixed Points of Mixed Increasing Operators in Ordered Banach Spaces

In this paper, we develop a new mixed Mann iteration process to approximate the fixed points of mixed increasing operators in ordered Banach spaces and discuss the convergence analysis of the iterative sequences generated by the iteration process. As an application, we develop a new iterative method for solving a class of nonlinear integral equations.     

Unital affine semigroups

Affine semigroups are convex sets on which there exists an associative binary operation which is affine separately in either variable. They were introduced by Cohen and Collins in 1959. We look at examples of affine semigroups which are of interest to matrix and operator theory and we prove some new results on the extreme points and the absorbing elements of certain types of affine semigroups. Most notably we improve a result of Wendel that every invertible element in a compact affine semigroup is extreme by extending this result to linearly bounded affine semigroups.     

Characterization of the Cone and Applications in Banach Spaces

Abstract

In this article, we first discuss the subduality and orthogonality of the cones and the dual cones when the norm is monotone in Banach spaces. Then, under different assumptions, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the ordering increasing property of the metric projection onto cones and order intervals are studied. Moreover, representations of the metric projection onto cones and order intervals are obtained. As applications, the solvability and approximation results of solutions to nonlinear discontinuous variational inequality and complementarity problems are proved by partial ordering methods.     

A 3D mesh deformation technique for irregular in‐flight ice accretion

Aircraft holding around busy airports may be requested to sustain as much as 45 min of icing before landing or being diverted to another airport. In this paper, a three‐dimensional mesh deformation scheme, based on a structural frame analogy, is proposed for the numerical simulation of ice accretion during extended exposure to adverse weather conditions. The goal is to provide an approach that is robust and efficient enough to delay or altogether avoid re‐meshing while preserving (enforcing) nearly orthogonal elements at the highly distorted ice surface. Robustness is achieved by suitably modifying the axial and torsional stiffness components of the frame elements in order to handle large and irregular grid displacements typical of in‐flight icing. Computational efficiency is obtained by applying the mesh displacement to an automatically selected small subset of the entire computational domain. The methodology is validated first in the case of deformations typical of fluid‐structure interaction problems, including wing bending, a helicopter rotor in forward flight, and the twisting of a high‐lift wing configuration. The approach is then assessed for aero‐icing on two swept wings and compared against experimental measurements where available. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Mixed variational formulations in locally convex spaces

The main purpose of this paper is to extend to the setting of locally convex spaces the study of the mixed variational formulation of some elliptic boundary value problems, the so-called Babuška–Brezzi theory. This study consists of characterizing the existence of a solution and giving conditions that guarantee the stability of the corresponding Galerkin method.     

Tb-MOFs在荧光检测方面的研究进展

镧系离子特殊的电子排布使镧系有机骨架材料（Ln-MOFs）具有独特的发光性质,通过骨架和不同客体分子间的相互作用,可实现对诸多物质的荧光检测。其中,以铽离子（Tb3+）为中心构筑的Tb-MOFs具有更优良的光学性能和更高的检测灵敏度,是一种极具潜力的高效荧光探针。本文以稀土Tb3+为主线,综述了近年来国内外Tb-MOFs材料在阴阳离子、有机小分子、生物分子荧光检测方面的研究进展,并对未来发展趋势进行了展望。

随机迭代算法的几乎必然T-稳定性及收敛性

目的是在可分Banach空间的框架下,研究某些类型的-弱压缩型的随机算子的Ishikawa-型及Mann-型随机迭代算法的几乎必然T-稳定性及收敛性.在适当的条件下,证明了该类随机算子的随机不动点的Bochner可积性以及这两类随机迭代算法的几乎必然T-稳定性及收敛性.     

反Banach空间内涉及广义混合似臣分不等式问题的双水平广义混合平衡问题

在自反Banach空间内,引入和研究了一类新的涉及广义混合似变分不等式问题的双水平广义混合平衡问题(BGMEP).首先,为了计算BGMEP的近似解,引入了一类辅助广义混合平衡问题(AGMEP).由使用一极小极大不等式,在没有任何强制条件的相当温和假设下,证明了AGMEP解的存在性和唯一性.利用辅助原理技巧,建议和分析了一类计算BGMEP的近似解的新迭代算法.在没有任何强制条件的相当温和假设下,证明了由算法生成的迭代序列的强收敛性.这些结果是新的并且推广了这一领域内某些最近结果.
